Farm Net Zero Monitor Farmer, Peter Cox has been growing lucerne for silage over a number of years and takes an average of 13 cuts over the 4-year lifetime of the crop. The yield ranges from approximately 15 to 18 tonnes an acre at a crude protein value of 24%.
Come to this field walk to understand the agronomy unique to lucerne, and how this crop could improve the resilience of your system.
